Mason - 18 months!

You will be 18 months old this Friday, a whole year and a half! You have grown by leaps and bounds. It is so fun watching you take on new things and learn. You are a climber and explorer and keep us on our toes. You are also a lover, you love to snuggle on mommy (I hope you never change). Lately you have enjoyed chasing your sister around the house and trying to do whatever she is. Barney is your favorite tv show and Little Blue Truck by Alice Schertle is your favorite book, we read it every night before bed. You are working on potty trainin
g at daycare and are doing well with that. It is amazing all of the milestones you have hit.

Walking: 14 months
Waving bye bye: 16 months
Talking: 17 months (first word was "daddy")

Favorite words @ 18 months: All done, uh-oh, bubbles, daddy, sissy, mommy, woof-woof

We can't wait to watch you continue to grow! You are our sweet and adventurous baby boy!

Aubrey - How did you get to be a whole 4 years old?!?!?!

You are really growing so fast! Our once toddler is now a little girl... you like trying to do what the big kids are doing and have many opinions of your own. It is so much fun watching you try to figure things out on your own. Your are very excited to begin pre-kindergarten this fall at Little Star. You have expressed concerns that you wont know anyone, but are confident you will make new friends. When we went to the doctor for your four year well visit you had a physical done for school at that time you were 3 feet  7 inches tall and 34 pounds.

Things you love:

• Playing the kitchen (real or pretend)
• Being outside
• Baby dolls

Your favorite foods are:

• Mac N' Cheese
• Dino Nuggets
• Recces Puffs Cereal
• Strawberries

(Needles to say you have figured out what tastes good, you love sweets!)

I feel like I am saying this every year, but it is hard to believe you are growing up so fast! I feel like you were just born not that long ago. We feel so blessed to have such a sweet, strong and loving daughter like you!

Mason's First Birthday!!!

Wow where did the year go!!! I can not believe you are already one year old. We have had so much fun watching you grow and learn over the last year. You know what you want and have a good idea how to get it. You are a mommy boy; always demanding to be held. You sleep through the night like a champ and take a 2-3 hour naps in the afternoon. You drink whole milk and your favorite foods are crackers, cheerios, eggs and steak. You love taking a bath, you stick your face in the water and blow bubbles.



The morning of your birthday your sister wanted to make sure it was special, so we had a special breakfast, waffles with whip cream and a candle. In the afternoon a few family and friends came over to celebrate.

Mommy made your birthday cake, this was the second time you had ate cake and you were not to sure about it on the day of your party. Before your birthday you had cake for your one year old pictures and you dove right in, you loved it.

It was a great time and you received so many trucks and tractors! Although you were more interested in the wrapping paper and boxes like any baby would be. Your sister helped you open all of your gifts, she was so excited to celebrate your day.  We  are blessed with such a great group of people in our lives. 

At your last doctor appointment you were  24 lbs and 31.3 inches. You are a happy healthy boy. We look forward to watching you grow and are so blessed to have you in our life!
